Doneff Companies moves to new offices

MANITOWOC — Doneff Companies, LLC-Hometown Apartment Communities has moved to a newly constructed office, 5160 Expo Drive, the corner of Custer Street and Expo Drive, after 30 years at the East Waldo Professional Park.

A news release from the company said the new office represents a significant investment in the future of Manitowoc County.

Doneff Companies manage more than 750 apartment homes, with 450 in Manitowoc County. Other communities served include Sheboygan, Baileys Harbor, Sturgeon Bay, Janesville, West Bend, and Marshfield.
Area properties include Meadowbrook Apartments, Southbrook Apartments, Southbrook Manor, Custer Village, Forest Glen Apartments and Two Rivers River House.

"We are proud of our history of providing safe and comfortable homes for our residents," said Anton Doneff Sr., company president.

"The housing market has significantly changed since our inception 32 years ago," he said. "As our local economy expands with new job creation, we look forward to expanding our role in providing affordable, quality apartment housing for our citizens."

Doneff Companies is adding another eight units to Custer Village, an existing apartment community. These apartments are the largest they have built to date, offering two and three bedroom private entry apartment homes with attached two-car garages.

In 1975, Robert Doneff, company founder, began building homes in Manitowoc County. Subdivisions include Indian Bluff Estates, Woodridge Estates and River Bluff, along with a number of smaller developments. Nicolas Doneff later joined the business.

The company has built more than 400 houses and condominiums and more than 1,000 apartment units.
